Botox/Xeomin/Dysport are neurotoxins injected into the muscle to treat fine lines and wrinkles of forehead, crows feet and frown lines. This injection helps reduce wrinkles caused by muscle movement. When a small amount of the neurotoxin is injected into the facial muscles, it temporarily suspends their ability to contract and crease the skin. Over time, the wrinkles, creases, and furrows of the face fade away. The procedure takes about 15-30mins. 

 

Botox and Dysport is used for a variety of off-label purposes, including neckbands, migraines, chin dimples, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and jawline slimming. Botox has undergone more clinical trials and studies than Ibuprofen and has been found to be both safe and effective.
